shopping!

A bit of shopping! My friend Suzanne well, one of my three Suzanne friends, is a great jeweler. Today she had an open house at Hunter Lange She makes quirky and fun items. Check out what I got!

The shop is really great too, tons of vintage holiday items I really wanted to buy everything! They had vintage Christmas tablecloths, vintage snowman and snow lady salt and pepper shakers! and loads of old ornaments! I wish I had my camera! I will have to go back! SOON!

I am all excited about this little number! My newest vintage apron, I needed it or it needed me! Suzanne has one like this too. She described it to me months ago, we were so excited that I was able to get it. I need some new ideas, I have an itch to have some new apron patterns. This will prove to be an inspiring apron. It will be fun to see what my version will be like!

This little number is reversible, love that!

This girl rocks!

I have great friends, a lot of really great friends. Today’s friend of the day is…KIMMY!
Kimmy is a great Mom, she makes incredible jewelry, she works her ass off PT, and she could make a million dollars off her granola bars. Check her out at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=51593

ANYWAY, She rocks. Yesterday I asked her to make sure that my son made it into art coop while I leiserly went grocery shopping alone and not a 6:00 AM. Well the poor thing had to deal with a massive fit from my son. She never said a word about it but later via email she sent me this… (she even asked help me make the cookies)

You looked like you need these......

Jose Cuervo Cookies

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

~ Sample the Cuervo to check quality.
~ Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest
quality, pour one level cup and drink.
~ Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
~ Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again. At this point it's best to make
sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup ...just in case. Turn off
the mixerer thingy.
~ Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit,
~Pick the frigging fruit off floor... Mix on the turner. If the fried
druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.
~ Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of
salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check the Jose Cuervo again for
consistancy. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can
find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall
over.
~Don't forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the
window, finish the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the
dishwasher.

YUM!

This Neclace is so great i went out and bought a shirt just to wear with it!
