Keepsake aprons

These are the aprons that helped start it all! I made these for the kids out of the kids favorite outfits for Christmas in 2003 and they wore them for years. Maddies was a baby doll dress from The Gap that she refused to give up and Aidan's apron was originally favorite little romper that he had worn that summer.

When I took this photo I realized that the aprons were way to small. The photo is fuzzy but I love it so! I soon started making aprons for children's gifts, then later that year I started selling a few vintage aprons here and there. Now look what's happened a nice little cottage industry!

Look who's wearing Modern June!

OMG it does not get better that this! What a great job I have the cutest people in the world are wearing my wears. I am so lucky!!!! Thanks Ladies with a special thanks to Rachel I am honored to be a part of you Christmas.

Please please please send me some photos of you wearing Modern June stuff!!! It makes it all worth while to see the apron in action! BTW---I will be opening the shop back up on Sunday, my brother is coming in town for a few days so I am still on holiday. I am enjoying my vacation a bit too much!

I was hanging out with my crafty posse yesterday and Nicole Lee Design told me about this site called Whip up! -- check it out it is really cool! "Hand craft in a hectic world," that says it all. If you have some information to share here is their link for submissions!

I also caught on that the Norfolk Craft Mafia has a cool thing they call LINK DUMP. I have Miss Beth from Monkey and Me to thank for that bit on bloggy goodness!

Look at these super cute kids wearing Modern June aprons! My crafty friend Suzanne arranged for her church to buy this aprons for their Sunday school classes and for the celebration of their new playground!

What a great thing that is. I tell ya the apron is all about making memories! I love my craft!
