xoxox,
Kelly I've spent the last few weekends perking up my front porch because I am hosting porch party on for my Junies and my Ward on Friday.
I've had a copy of this fun cocktail book for a while now and I've been dying to use it. The super sweet author Denise Gee and I did a little trade. I sent her a few extra party banners for her book tour and she sent me two copies of Porch Parties: Cocktail Recipes and Easy Ideas for Outdoor Entertaining.
You know I don't need two books, so guess what, we're going to give one away this week!! But wait that's not all... we'll give a little something away each day this week! SSSSSoooo leave us a comment to enter to win your copy of Porch Parties, tell us what special thing you did this holiday weekend. I'll close this giveaway done on Wednesday around cocktail time and announce the winner.
Here's a sneak peak of a little something that we'll giveaway tomorrow! Can you guess what it'll be? See you again tomorrow!

Thanks for the opportunity. Hubby and I traveled to Staunton and visited a number of wineries in between. Our favorites were Mountfair and Pollack. Glass House has THE BEST places to sip wine - either indoors in the tropical conservatory or outside on the deck overlooking the pond!
We spent the weekend on our boat, along with my son, DIL, two grandchildren and my two Biewer pups. It was a glorious day out in the water, just bobbing around, swimming and snacking!
I have a lot of 'rescue' birds, I finally gave them a bird room, & started taking back my dining room!
Next, I'll be tearing out bushes in the front, then turning those areas into a patio, with nice furniture & everything! I'm so excited about these projects :-D
I stayed home to get things done around the house and had my granddaughter over. Love, love her
!
I took advantage of the day off and worked on fixing up my porch! I scored some great chipped up (love them that way) iron chairs, for free, with seats that need to be recovered with oilcloth!!
Finally got flowering annuals into pots for the front porch and the back deck this weekend. today went to the parade and ceremony to honor those who gave.their lives for our country; then had family bbq that ended with delish apple crisp!
We spent time with family and friends: outside, of course, with our 4 small children 5 and under in age.
What a fabulous holiday weekend! The weather was glorious, which was great since we were moving into the cute little house we just bought. We're going to need lots of oil cloth!!
I love you oilcloth ideas! I've been admiring for awhile now & think I am ready to jump & make some stuff!:) DH & I did some little projects around the house that we have been putting off in prep for my embroidery sister & her dh visiting later in the week. Yay! Also went to GD's graduation & party & did a little embroidery! A fun, productive weekend for sure! Linda
Our long weekend was last weekend in Canada, but we went to the cottage for it and had a blast... love the outdoors.
We really didn't do too much this holiday weekend. Mostly it was all about relaxing this year.
This weekend we went to "the city" and walked around the waterfront and ate our supper outside. It was a beautiful day.
So excited about these give aways!!!
