If I had the time...

 
... I would go to my locally owned fabric shop (Quilting Adventures) and buy up a bunch of felt wool
 and some lovely embroidery floss

    I'm so glad you referenced Quilting adevntures as your local quilt shop! The staff there is SO friendly and helpful.... and loaded with creative talent! No I'm not compensated for gushing about them....
